Situated midway between Lewes, the historic County Town of East Sussex, and Uckfield, and located just outside the South Downs National Park, the Parish of Isfield is primarily a residential/farming community.

Station Road will be closed between 6.45pm and 8pm from its junction with Horsted Lane to Isfield Place. To ensure the safety of the public and the processors, THERE WILL BE ABSOLTELY NO VEHICULAR ACCESS between these times nor movement of vehicles within the road closure.

 

We have reduced this by half an hour from last year to ease the journey of local residents home. If needed there is marshalled car parking in a field just south of Station Road.

 

 

Uckfield Art Group Bi-Annual Exhibition
4th November 2017

 

The Uckfield Art Group will be holding their Bi-Annual Exhibition and sale of art work at Luxford Centre, Library Way, Uckfield, TN22 1AR on Saturday, 4 November from 10m-4pm. Entry is free. Refreshments will be available and a childrens' activity table.

Rural crime is on the increase and police patrols are rare or non existent. To provide advise for local residents, Piltdown Residents Association has arranged for a presentation by two professional security consultants to be held in Fletching Village Hall on Thursday 9th November at 8pm and an invitation has been extended to anyone from Isfield who might wish to attend.
